A quote is provided based on the information you give us about your site and equipment. The final price may be adjusted if the actual item count or equipment type differs materially from what was described at the time of quoting.
You're responsible for providing reasonable access to the equipment being tested on the agreed date. If access isn't available and a visit needs to be rescheduled, a call-out charge may apply — this will be confirmed before any visit is booked.
Testing is carried out in line with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We test to identify safety issues at the time of the visit — a pass result confirms the equipment met the relevant safety checks on that date, not a guarantee against future faults.
Items that fail testing are labelled and reported to you on the day. Responsibility for repairing, replacing or removing a failed item from service rests with you as the equipment owner or duty holder.
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. [Add your specific payment terms — e.g. invoice on completion, payment due within X days.]
[This section should be drafted or reviewed by a solicitor — liability terms need to reflect your actual insurance cover and business structure.]
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@circuitsafe.co.uk.
